This is a small (around 40M) Linux distribution designed to be copied onto a business card-shaped CD-R. Its primary purpose is as a Linux experts recovery and analysis tool, and it features a wide variety of tools, drivers, X Windows, and more. Since it can also read and write to FAT file systems, and is much faster and more flexible than MS-DOS, it also makes a great alternative to DOS boot disks when fixing Windows-based machines. It is distributed as a CD-ROM ISO image designed to be used in conjunction with CD burning software.

A popular intrusion detection system, it is designed to protect the integrity of system files against unauthorised modification by crackers. The application essentially creates a snapshot of a configured system, logs changes to files and audits them for their security impact. Administrators are alerted through email and the changes may either be accepted or denied. This is the most popular tool of its kind and has recently been released under the Open-Source LGPL license.
